Timer Description & Requirements
• Times dialogue and captions as .ass files

• Provide raw avi files to be used to time
• Encodes timed files onto raw avi files
• Uploads to various filesharing and streaming sites
• Must be available on a regular basis and have dedication
• Must know English and know how to use VirtualDub
• Must have good internet connection and easy access

Application Form.
Elaborate on your answers and include things you have/do that makes you qualified for the job.
It can be an open schedule, experience from another site, knowledge of Korean/Chinese/Japanese, etc.
Be detailed about how much time you can dedicate every week such as school or work schedule and free days.

Hiring Process
Your post will be crossed out like so if your application has been rejected. You can re-apply after a month.
If I feel that you are highly qualified for the position, you will be PMed a timing/encoding test with instructions.
Depending on the level of your performance, you will either be rejected or hired temporarily as an intern.
You will then be monitored and the subbing team will oversee your activity and attitude.
If you do well, you will be hired as a staff member. If you do not work at the level we expect from you, you will be demoted.

i need to practice my Korean listening skills and timing helps. I was taught and i can still get help in case of a problem from a friend who isa 2 year timer/typesetter/QC and sub coordinator on U-kiss's international forum. I can dedicate 1-2h a day, and 3-4h max on weekends.
Currently no obligations that take too much of my time. Full internet access 24/7 and mobile internet.

What do you think makes you qualified for this position? : I believe I am qualified because I spend 30% of my computer time on timing lyric videos or subbing so I have experience. I just got Aegisubs and is practicing to use it. I can also time 10 min videos in less than 30 mins and it will also be accurate. I have really good access to the internet. I enjoy sub timing.

What do you think makes you qualified for this position? : i work fast but produce quality subs. Eg i can finish timing a 10mins video in a day and if it's long i can finish around 12-15mins and continue the next day so i'll be able to hand up the work on the 2nd day

What do you think makes you qualified for this position?: Well, I currently sub SHINee videos by myself on my Youtube channel. My friend will translate it for me and I will encode it into the raw AVI file. I use AegiSubs and Virtualdub to sub my videos and I think you guys like that. I can do either position but it looks like everyone applied as a timer so I applied as an encoder! I can do 3-4 hours on the weekdays and I'm free on the weekend unless I make plans. I sub videos quickly and provide good quality. Also, one of your admins asked me if I wanted to join your team so I decided why not. Anything for my fellow Shawols! Check out my channel if you want.

I am quite confident of using subbing tools such as Aegisubs and I have a high interest in K-pop. I would consider myself as hardworking, fast-learner and dedicated person and I can make sure that I will do my best on the job though I don't have any experience before.
