Lunar New Years has come, marking the year of the snake. Fans must be wondering what the year of the snake idols will do this holiday. TV Report compared the New Years plans of the idols born in 1989.

The six members of Girls' Generation will be on their Japan Arena Tour while CNBLUE’s leader Jung Yonghwa will be appearing on a music program with the other members. Big Bang’s Daesung is in Japan to prepare for his first solo album release, and the Wonder Girls’ leader Sunye is in Canada, enjoying her married life.

What will SHINee’s leader Onew be doing for Lunar New Years? SM Entertainment gave him a short break so Onew will visit his parents back home. However, he will return to the studio in the afternoon and continue to work on SHINee’s new album. There are only 10 days left until SHINee releases their third studio album and returns to the stage after 11 months.

Did SME give Onew time off because he's born the year of the snake? Either way, Whoo~ At least Leader gets a little time to spend with his family. c: What about the other members? Both Jong's and Taemin's families are in Seoul so can't they stop by their family's for a little while? Sucks about Key and Minho though... :l

oh my goodness, this makes me so happy. Onew, I hope you have a great time with your family, just relaxing!! you deserve it. I hope they all got some downtime too. can't wait for Dream Girl COMEBACK!!! XD

I'm happy that's getting time off to visit family. I hope the others are getting a chance to do so as well! I can't wait to see their comeback stage!

AWW! I'm glad that Onew will spend Lunar New Years with his family. Thank you SM, for giving Onew a break, but please include also the 4. I hoped that they will also spend their Lunar New Year with their family! ^^

Aww hope Onew get to spend a good quality of time with his family~ Though the time is short, but at least he can be with his family for his year ^^
