As you all may have seen in UFO Replies, we have posted up numerous translations of SHINee's UFO replies. For those who are wondering what UFO is, UFOTown is a message board where fans can leave messages for various artists. There are two different UFOs: UFOTown Korea and UFOTown China. However, you need a valid phone number, in Korea or China, in order to subscribe. The phone company then charges you based on the messages you send.

After you leave a message, the boys will reply to your message, depending on if they have time and if you're lucky. As for the UFOTown China, there is a program that translates the Chinese messages into Korean and then the boys reply in Korean and it gets translated back into Chinese.

This is totally off limits to those who don't live in Korea or China anyway, unless you can find some sort of loop-hole around it. I say your best bet, if you don't live in China or Korea and you want to leave a message with the boys, is to go on their official fanboard! I posted a tutorial in SHINee World.

Please feel free to correct me about ANY of this. I am by no means an expert so I won't be able to help you out with the process of registration and whatnot. All of this is what I've gathered from people who have UFO accounts. This is just to clear up the questions people had about UFOTown, and I closed all the previous topics about UFO. I hope this helps somewhat!

I'm pretty sure. You can try navigating UFOChina yourself~ I haven't able to verify this myself yet because I can't read Korean or Chinese.

well i have a 070 phone at home.
it's basically a korean number,
and how it works is that instead of connecting to the phone lines, it connects to the internet.
so I've sent them.
well, okay, I've only sent one, cause these things are pretty expensive.
and even if you DO send it, there's a verrrrrrrrrrrry small chance you'll get a reply back.

They do reply quite often, but not for a while now. They were just really busy during RDD promotions and now they're doing Hello Baby and promoting overseas. I think there are a ton more but people have gotten lazy to translate them. I think.

I wish I lived in China or Korea so that I can see these boys everyday. Lucky people get to see them they are just lucky. But, I'm a proud USA citizen. Sometimes I wish I could write things to them but knowing sometimes they won't get a chance to reply to them. Man that sounded depressing because it is!
