From Japan's "The Night Before Christmas" to the World's "Last Christmas," a representative song from Asia has finally been born!

As the first narrative song about love, the ballad song "For 1000 years, always be by my side" will be released worldwide and in Japan on December 12!!

After claiming 2^nd place on the Oricon charts with "Dazzling Girl," the ballad song "For 1000 years, always be by my side" will be the first Japanese ballad single that SHINee has ever released since debut. This song is a combination of the various members' amazing vocals and harmonized voices which makes this single so brilliant.

This song is about the 1000 years of feelings that they had always wanted to express and is expected to have the ability to surpass classic narrative songs. Additionally, the MV was filmed according to the scenarios that were illustrated through the song. By utilizing the concept of a storyline to produce a short film, this actually further expresses the meaning behind the song. The other song to be released, "The world where you exist", is another ballad song and was produced through the use of piano and percussion.

I'm freaking out about this!!!! This is what I've been wanting for SHINee for so long! The video seems so vintage, the song seems like it will have such a good meaning and I'm so excited for it to be a romantic ballad! Because SHINee's ballads honestly rock and they always do dance singles instead of ballad singles even though their voices are so incredible. I always like their medium-tempo and ballad songs best to be honest. This is going to be so epic, I can feel it! That video, yes XD I'm so excited for it to have a storyline that actually connects to the song. That worked out really well with Replay, Amigo, Juliette and Sherlock. I think videos are best when they are not just dancing or close-up shots since every song has meaning to it, you know? I'm crossing my fingers for time travel because with the title and the vintage looks it would make so much dang sense! SHINee would be the only group of this generation to do something about time travel!

i freakin' love their ballads!!!!!
i did NOT used to listen to any slow or ballad songs ever before!! but then SHINee changed me!!!
even at first i didn't like listening to their ballad songs, i listened to them once and didn't think much of it
but then one day i was watching their live concert performance and they started singing one of their ballad songs and i instantly fell in love with them even more and went back to listen to all their ballad songs!!!! and now i literally love every single SHINee song!!!!!

yes, yes, yes~!!! I am so super stoked for this! SHINee's going to rock it, as always. I am excited for a ballad, and the concept sounds really awesome. I hope the MV is really artsy and unique (which I am sure it will be); I already love it just seeing the small teaser and the picture of them in the bus. I love the old, antiquey feel to it. Plus they all look so handsome. :3 And the number 1,000 has such deep meaning in Japanese culture, so I know they'll do a lot with the concept. Can't wait!!!!
