Director Jang Yoo Jung revealed that she prepared SHINee‘s Onew for musicals with heels.

On the January 25th episode of tvN‘s ‘Kim Mi Kyung Show‘, the musical director and writer shared a behind-the-scenes story from the 2010 musical ‘The Brothers were Brave‘, which was Onew’s musical debut.

Jang Yoo Jung called Clazziquai‘s Alex out to the stage and said, “You have to have a goal to your dreams.” She then asked him to grab MC Kim Mi Kyung‘s high heels, which caused him to come to the stage more quickly than before. The director explained, “When we have a goal, our movements become more clear and defined.”

She then revealed, “I also trained Onew in this way with heels.”

OMAGASH....heels for practise? OAO I used to practise drama with heels....not a good memory though... ^^;;

It must be pain and hard for him,but it was for onew,I'm sure he practiced hard no matter what.
Imagine he trained with heels,and in the same time he had to film HB >.<

Whoa!! This is... surprising? Considering Onew's a bit of a klutz? lol I can just imagine how many times he fell/tripped while wearing those heels. Omg, I'm a bad person. I shouldn't be joking about this...

Wow.. Such a dedication to learn singing in musical with heels.
Must be hard on him to sing. Reminds me of Jokwon solo where he wore that ridiculously high heel like Lady Gaga to sing. Lol.
But I think Onew in heels is so adorable. :D

Omo Onew with heels?? That'll be hilarious but at the same time I pity him coz it must hv hurt a lot. Trust me, i hv experience n i'm a girl.

Oh wow. Maybe I should have the male dancers in the company train in heels to make them more poise. They are far too clumsy. But training in heels is hard. Dancing in heels as well.
